Who was known as the "Angel of the Rockies"? And why are we asking?
How about a little Colorado Trivia today? The subject is....Famous Coloradans.
My first impulse was to go with my all-time fav, John Deutschendorf, and I could fill up a lot of your time with that one! However, I decided to go with Colorado History and found this true gem.
The question: Who was known as "The Angel of the Rockies"?
Why on Earth am I writing about Colorado, you ask? Or maybe you didn't ask. I'll tell you anyway. As of 9AM EST, this morning, we have our license to ship Plymouth Bay Winery wines direct to Colorado Consumers! We're excited - we have had lots of visitors from The Great and Beautiful Rocky Mountain State, and some requests to ship to them. So, as "Rocky Mountain High" in on continuous play in my head, I am passing on this exciting news!
OK. Back to the Trivia Question. Here's a link to the answer. If you have 6 minutes and 22 seconds, it's a great story. What a strong spirited, loving human being. Angel of the Rockies, compliments of the State of Colorado site.
